As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our team depends upon contributions from individuals, groups, firms, and agencies interested in supporting its work. El Paso County Search and Rescue does not receive regular funding from local, state, or federal governments. EPCSAR does not solicit support via telemarketing of any kind.

This mountain search and rescue team is staffed 100% by non-paid professionals that respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.

We incur enormous expenses while responding to missions, including wear and tear on team vehicles, rescue and communications equipment, facilities, and various medical, training, and other supplies.

There is never a charge to a subject for our services or expenses. All our funding comes from grants and donations from people like you or your organization.
